I’m very excited to announce the release of my new record “Better Luck Next Time”. Please join us at 2pm on Saturday, May 28th, 2022 at the Fayetteville Public Library for a live show with my full band. There will be physical copies of the album available for purchase.
More about the album: This project has been ongoing since Fall 2020 and I truly had my dream team work on it. I’m proud of my growth as a musician, person and songwriter since I released my debut EP in 2018 and I feel that it’s reflected in “Better Luck Next Time”.
I have written these 9 songs over the past few years individually and with songwriters from around the world that I admire (including: Willi Carlisle, Bonnie Montgomery, Tom West, Ali Holder, Crystal Damore, Abbey Pierce and Phillip Cannon). Some of these songs were written at The House Of Songs (Bentonville, AR), two at Bethany Arts Community (Ossining, NY) and others at home.
The songs were mostly recorded and mixed at The Studio Nashville (Nashville, TN) w/ Brook Sutton, Daniel Thiels, Chris Scruggs, Jeffrey Clemens, Tommy Hannum and Jacob Campbell. Jeffrey Clemens and I co-produced. We tracked backing vocals at Crisp Recording (Fayetteville, AR) w/ Becky Adams, Jacob Campbell, Phillip Cannon and Sarah Loethen.
Ryan Musick took the album cover photo again, I couldn’t be happier.
